    Valentine’s Day Spectacular! <3

We host a Valentine’s Day soirée with beautiful guests Caitlin Brodnick, Trumane Alston, Branson Reese, Christina Cola, and Juan Nicolón! That’s right, it’s our first-ever multi-guest episode and we ask each of them to talk about a love song *or* a song that relates to their love lives. We discuss such wonderful tracks as Joanna Newsome’s “Good Intentions Paving Company,” Ben E King’s “Stand By Me,” Macy Gray’s “I Try,” No Doubt’s “Ex-Girlfriend,” and The Punch Brother’s “Another New World.” We basically speed date our way through this lovely bunch of comedians and end up quite smitten by the end of it. PLUS! The sickest pop-punk and emo band in the tri-state area, MY DARK LITTLE CORNER, plays a set of their hilarious songs for everyone to enjoy.

Nicole brings with her the somber tune “Shadow Song” by The Mountain Goats and we talk to her about the place music has occupied in her life. To close the show, Kaylyn Marie covers the song and plays an original of her own.
